Training

Training is offered by Rebecca Rainey on or off Banks Miniature Horse Farm. Rebecca trains minis for halter, jumping, hunter, driving, riding, tricks, etc. Training is offered on a limited basis. Horses for driving and/or riding must be boarded at the farm for a minimum of 30 days. Rebecca is currently training and showing Banks Miniature Horse Farm horses. Our first show with only two days training took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons. Look for us at the shows - currently showing WCMHR, AMHA, and AMHR. Rebecca Rainey's Background: Rebecca started riding when she was 4 years old in Raleigh, NC. She started showing in the hunter/jumper rings when she was 9 years old. Competing on the hunter/jumper circuit well through high school. She started training, breaking, and teaching riding lessons when she was 13. She entered the dressage world and underwent extensive dressage training for 3 years competing through second level. After working on an Arab farm for 3 years she learned a lot about halter and driving. She then moved on to training and managing farms all over NC. After traveling around she settled down in Raleigh, NC. She entered the mini world a little over two years ago. Her first mini show was at the NC State Fair were she won many ribbons and has been showing, training and breeding minis ever since
